Celebrating community spirit and a little style too
On December 2, 2025, members of our Board attended the annual TABIA Awards, joining Business Improvement Areas from across Toronto for an evening celebrating local entrepreneurship and community impact.
Representing Shop The Queensway BIA, our Chair Michele Roberts and Co-Chair Zach Abraham took part in the festivities and definitely made an impression.
The night included a fun vote for “Best Dressed Person,” where attendees handed out necklaces to the person they thought looked the best. Michele’s Great Gatsby inspired outfit won the crowd over and she took home the Best Dressed Award of the night. We couldn’t be prouder.
“One step at a time!” Michele joked afterward, and honestly, it felt like a small win for The Queensway as a whole. Events like this keep us visible in Toronto’s wider BIA community and help us build stronger relationships beyond our corridor.
Huge congratulations to Michele and thank you to both her and Zach for representing Shop The Queensway so well.
