To our friends at Great Lakes Brewery, you really are a special crew.
This past Good Friday (April 3rd 2026), I had the pleasure of spending the day at GLB Spring Marketplace. Vendors from all corners of Toronto showed up, and of course I’ve got to give a big shoutout to our very own BIA members: Hound and Purr, Little Pink Brick House, and Momo Dumpling Express.
The Sun finally decided to cooperate with us and blessed us with a full day of warmth – kids were smiling, families were growing, and honestly I was relieved it lasted the full day (I am tired of this rain and snow – it’s April let’s be serious).
Families, pets, neighbours, and community members all came out to shop, explore, and soak in the energy. It felt like the ideal kickoff to the long weekend – light, lively, and full of community spirit.
It was great to see Great Lakes Brewery put this event together again this year and the timing of it all couldn’t have been better. It was an extra blessing dropped at the start of spring. I know this won’t be the last event I share with you and I am excited to see more of what the Queensway has to reveal.
