Celebrate the Queensway Festival - Saturday June 8, 2013

Last Year's Event Last Year's Event

On Saturday, June 8th, come join us for the 2nd Annual Celebrate the Queensway Festival. Last year, the festival was a huge success, and attracted over 2,000 residents. This was a huge accomplishment for the shoptheQueensway.com BIA; which was only formed last June, 2012. Celebrate The Queensway Festival is just one of the many new local initiatives being worked on to bring increased vibrancy to this neighbourhood, to engage more residents in local activities, and to promote local businesses. This even was made possible by the volunteer efforts of business owners, volunteer board members, and Toronto City Councillor Peter Milczyn.

This festival will have something for everyone, including local food and retail vendors, a beer tent, plus many free activities for children such as amusement rides, a movie in the park and live music. This event is the only one of its kind on The Queensway, and it is extremely important that this years' event is even more successful than last year.
